How the result & grade checker works

The grading scale used here

PercentageLetter gradeGPA points (4.0 scale)
90% and aboveA4.0
80% – 89%B3.0
70% – 79%C2.0
60% – 69%D1.0
Below 60%F0.0

How your result is totalled

For each subject, percentage = marks obtained ÷ total marks × 100. The overall percentage is total obtained ÷ total marks × 100 across every subject you entered. The overall GPA is the average of the per-subject grade points.

This page checks marks you type in. It is not connected to any school, examination board, or university, and it cannot look up anyone's official result.

Worked example

Maths 81/100, English 74/100, Science 93/100: percentages are 81% (B, 3.0), 74% (C, 2.0), and 93% (A, 4.0). Totals: 248 out of 300 = 82.67% overall (B), and the GPA is (3.0 + 2.0 + 4.0) ÷ 3 = 3.00.

Frequently asked questions

Which grading scale does this checker use?

The scale is printed on this page and used for every subject: A = 90% and above (4.0 points), B = 80-89% (3.0), C = 70-79% (2.0), D = 60-69% (1.0), F = below 60% (0). Schools and boards set their own scales, so if yours differs, the percentages and totals still hold — only the letters would change.

How is the overall GPA worked out?

Each subject's percentage becomes a letter, each letter becomes grade points (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0), and the GPA is the simple average of those points across the subjects you entered.

Can this page look up my official result?

No — and it is designed that way. EduKit has no access to any school, board, or university records and stores nothing. This is a calculator for marks you already have, such as the numbers on your report card or marks memo.

What if a subject has a different total, like 50 instead of 100?

That is fine. Enter each subject's own total; percentages are worked out per subject, and the overall percentage uses the summed obtained marks over the summed totals.

Do I have to fill in all 8 subjects?

No. Fill in as many as you have — empty rows are ignored.
